We're looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with clients, preparing tax returns, solving complex accounting challenges, and serving as a trusted advisor to small businesses and individuals.

What You'll Do

As a Senior Accountant, you'll work with a diverse portfolio of business and individual clients throughout the year.

Tax Preparation & Planning

• Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and business entities, including Forms 1040, 1120, 1120S, and 1065.
• Research and apply current tax laws while maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards.
• Meet with clients to gather information, answer questions, and identify tax-saving opportunities.
• Review financial records and supporting documentation to ensure complete and accurate tax filings.
• Provide proactive tax planning and guidance throughout the year.
• Stay current on tax law changes and communicate their impact to clients.

Accounting & Client Services

• Perform monthly bookkeeping and accounting services for small business clients.
• Prepare payroll and sales tax filings.
• Assist clients who maintain their own bookkeeping by providing guidance, oversight, and troubleshooting.
• Prepare financial reports and reconcile accounts.
• Build strong relationships by serving as a trusted advisor and responsive resource for client questions.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and enjoys helping clients succeed.

Preferred qualifications include:



• CPA or Enrolled Agent designation, or actively pursuing certification.
• Experience preparing individual and business tax returns.
• Knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.
• Experience with Intuit ProSeries or similar professional tax software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, stringent deadlines, and multiple clients
• Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills.
• Commitment to accuracy, professionalism, and exceptional client service.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
• A PTIN is required or must be obtained upon hire
